I had a great stay at this hostel with 2 friends for 4 nights at this hostel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Ludi (I might be spelling this wrong) went to buy coffee for breakfast when I asked if there was more.
He also booked a cab for us for an early departure and gave us great tips for food and activities in the city. I also forgot my phone charger and he happily lent me his.
The hostel was very clean and welcoming. It was within walking distance to the waterfront, metro and great restaurants. I would stay here again :)
We have recently visited Lisbon for the first time and we're very pleased with our stay at Smile. Ludi was very welcoming and helpful and is bilingual. We stayed in a private room as we were travelling as a couple and it was very clean and comfortable. We had a fan in our room which was helpful as it can be quite muggy in the city. Towels and breakfast are included. Breakfast was very good for a hostel! Cereal, fresh bread and fruit, juices, coffee, pastries and eggs were set out daily. The hostel was small and very quiet. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. It was slightly hard to find as there is no large sign over head but once you see #12 over the door you will see "smile" on the apartment buzzer and you will know you are there!
Really liked Smile Hostel.
The rooms are good with comfortable beds and the communal bathroom is clean. The communal area is really chill with a tele, games console, sofas and bean bags. Breakfast was good with bread and fresh fruit. No complaints, all really nice.
Anna who works there was really friendly and really cool.
Only problem is it's really difficult to find, the only sign is a little message on the intercom so we walked up and down the steep hill for ages looking for it. Other than that good location.
